Presented here terms and conditions govern the contract of the online sale of items proposed to users through the company’s own website Sunglasses Domus of G.o.i. Srl based in Augusta (SR): Via Principe Umberto 99 - 96011 Augusta (SR), Italy, VAT number 01790120891.

 

  1. PROCEDURE OF SALE AND SHIPPING TIMES

A customer who wants to make a purchase must express this desire by making a request directly on the website following the described procedure, and proceed by submitting a purchase order and payment.

Sunglasses Domus will proceed to process the order only after receiving confirmation of payment of the total amount due. Subsequently Sunglasses Domus will send the customer a receipt of purchase including order summary and shipping times.

Shipping times are as following:

  • up to 4 working days for items immediately available;

  • up to 10 working days for items that need to be ordered from the official supplier.

 

  1. OWN RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

Sunglasses Domus commits to deliver their goods to the courier responsible for the delivery to the customer’s address specified in the customer's purchase order. Sunglasses Domus is not responsible for delivery errors due to inaccuracies in the order form filled in by the customer. We ship worldwide. Items are delivered by courier service and therefore postal boxes are not accepted.

 

  1. CUSTOMER’s RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

The customer is solely responsible for the correctness and accuracy of information provided.

The customer, by filling in the purchase order declares to be of age and possess the legal capacity to act.

The customer agrees to keep an electronic copy of the order and to print the purchase order.

The prices of the items are displayed on the website at the time of purchase and are inclusive of VAT but shipping costs will be added and that will be highlighted prior to the completion of the purchase process.

The customer agrees and commits himself/herself to make payment in advance to delivery using the system of payment indicated.

Upon receipt of the item, the customer must verify in the courier’s presence that the quantity and type of product corresponds to what has been purchased and what is present on the invoice. They must also check the integrity of the packaging. Any anomalies should be contested to the courier upon receipt of the item.

 

  1. WARRANTY

All the items present on the Sunglasses Domus website are covered by the manufacturer's warranty and a 24-month warranty covering defects of conformity and for this reason the customer is required to keep the invoice that they will receive upon the delivery of the product.

Guarantee of conformity is regulated by D.L. No. 24/2002 and states that the seller is required to ensure that the sold product has all the promised characteristics indicated on the label and in advertising. In case of lack of conformity the seller will replace and/or repair the product providing that a proper report is prepared within 10 days of receipt of the product.

 

  1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL/RETURNS

The customer has the right to terminate the contract without penalty and without stating a reason, as governed by the Italian Council 85/577/EEC Directive of 20 December 1985 which protects consumers in case of contracts negotiated away from commercial spaces.

All products purchased can be returned and refunded provided the customer notifies their intention to return the product within 10 working days of receipt of the product.

The product and its packaging must be returned undamaged. Shipping costs will be borne by the customer who will decide which carrier to use.

Upon receipt of the product and only after verifying the integrity of the item, the reimbursement will be made.
